Doesn’t matter the conditions, these will start a fire as long as it’s not hurricane winds. I’ve used them on just about every camping trip since buying them and they don’t struggle to start a fire. Easy to fluff and light.

I took five tabs on a backpacking trip where I expected wet materials the first two days. I used two tabs for the first fire and they worked as advertised. For the rest of the trip, one tab per fire was enough and worked just fine.
